Giant 500 m2 self-adhesive vinyl (SAV) wrap applied to modular cabin.
Embrace have just completed the installation of a high-impact giant wrap for Crystal Palace F.C. to cover a modular cabin on the grounds at Selhurst Park.
The wrap covers all four elevations of the giant modular cabin structure – two measuring thirty metres long by 6.3 m tall plus both ends at 10 m long by 6.3 m tall.
A mixture of solid SAV (Self Adhesive Vinyl) was used along with Contravision© one-way film over all of the glazing. By using this combination of materials no wrap frame is required, windows can be easily and seamlessly accommodated and bright and striking images can be produced.
For this project the Embrace team were working to a very tight lead time in order to site survey, produce artwork CAD drawings, print and install. Our specialist experts were able to install the wrap in just six days – despite working in extremely uncomfortable hot & sunny weather with temperatures reaching 33C.
Greg Forster, Managing Director at Embrace Building Wraps, commented:
Nothing focuses the mind like a new client, tight lead in time, limited working window and an immovable completion date. However, with all the skill sets in place and precise planning we were able to deliver a stunning digitally-printed modular cabin wrap.
The tired grey structure was swiftly wrapped despite a multitude of access issues to work around and over the hottest week of the year. The creative design and vibrant colours made for an epic transformation.
Embrace are delighted to have worked with Crystal Palace F.C. and their partners in transforming the unappealing structure to a visual delight. The end result is a bold and proud brand statement for the club, featuring player images and bold graphics for the fans to enjoy.
