Embrace deliver 886m² printed building wrap for Cadogan Estate project

Embrace Building Wraps is excited to announce its latest project at the prestigious 30-33 Sloane Street, home to a façade retention system during redevelopment over the next two years. Collaborating closely with Cadogan Estate and main contractor JF Hunt, Embrace has designed a giant trompe l’oeil printed wrap that creates the illusion of a fully-formed façade, cleverly disguising ongoing work while enhancing the project’s visual appeal. The project encompasses two key elevations, wrapping an astonishing 886m² across Sloane Street (535m²) and Hans Crescent (351m²) with an artfully crafted design that includes a unique seamless shadow gap at the bullnose corner, ensuring a consummate visual experience.

Greg Forster, Managing Director at Embrace Building Wraps, remarked on the advancement of their offerings, stating,

We are delivering far more trompe l’oeil wraps these days. The software we use is incredible, and the visual outcome for the client speaks for itself. It’s true that a picture paints a thousand words, and I’m speechless! Our CGI software stands at the forefront of architectural visualization, transforming architects’ drawings into vivid, lifelike printed wraps.

He emphasized how advanced technology allows for an unparalleled level of detail and realism.

Embrace Building Wraps combines art and technology to create a wrapped façade that not only meets architectural intent but also enhances the overall environment. Their extensive gallery of Portland Stone options creates a rich palette for architectural representation, detailing various finishes that cater to different design aesthetics. This meticulous approach ensures that the wraps reflect the project’s surroundings, capturing the essence of both natural and ambient lighting scenarios. In addition, the wraps take into consideration shadow behavior and seasonal changes, ensuring depth and authenticity, making it a striking backdrop throughout the 365-day cycle.

Our project management service is comprehensive, handling every element from conception to completion. Forster adds:

The in-house design team works meticulously to ensure installations are not just wraps but an integral part of the community architecture. Each year, we become the go-to company for printed scaffold or façade retention system wraps of scale and complexity.

With an eye on creating immersive experiences for passersby, Embrace recognizes the importance of the viewer’s perspective, making the wrap an engaging spectacle no matter the time or place.

This ambitious project at 30-33 Sloane Street exemplifies the transformative power of building wraps. As cities evolve, so too does the need for solutions that maintain a connection to the aesthetic values of the area while ensuring functionality. Embrace Building Wraps is committed to pushing boundaries, partnering with architects, contractors, and property developers to harmonize construction processes with artistic expression.
